Basketball Recap: Marion County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hubbertville last Tuesday, Marion County came back down to earth. The Marion County Red Raiders fell just short of the Brilliant Tigers by a score of 46-43 on Monday. The Red Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 56-48.

Marion County's defeat dropped their record down to 23-8. As for Brilliant, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-11.

As of now, neither Marion County nor Brilliant have any future games scheduled.
