Volleyball Recap: Centerville Triumphs

The Centerville Tornadoes had just enough and edged out the Parker/Marion Pheasants 3-2 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tornadoes.

Centerville wouldn't go down easily and took Parker/Marion into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 21-25, 13-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Centerville's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Parker/Marion, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-11.

Centerville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Irene/Wakonda on the 2nd. As for Parker/Marion, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Alcester-Hudson on the 2nd.
