Volleyball Recap: Rickover Naval Takes a Loss

Rickover Naval lost against Chicago Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Seadragons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Chicago Academy scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Rickover Naval's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Chicago Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rickover Naval is set to challenge their familiar foe Alcott at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chicago Academy will face off against rival Schurz at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
