Football Recap: Seaforth Piles Up the Points Against Cedar Ridge + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seaforth). They claimed a resounding 53-6 win over the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Hawks with their most commanding win of the season.

It was another big night for Duncan Parker, who threw for 143 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes, and also picked up 43 receiving yards and one score. His passing game has become a key predictor of Seaforth's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-4 otherwise.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Seaforth proved: they limited Cedar Ridge to a paltry 3.4 yards per carry. The dominant display was nothing new: the Hawks have now limited their opponent to fewer and fewer yards per carry in four consecutive contests.

Seaforth's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Cedar Ridge, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Seaforth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 27-7 win against South Granville on the 17th. As for Cedar Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 64-19 loss against J.F. Webb on the 17th.
