On Saturday, Los Lunas faced Albuquerque in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Los Lunas Tigers fell 43-31 to the Albuquerque Bulldogs. The Tigers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Los Lunas' loss dropped their record down to 23-6. As for Albuquerque, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.
