Atlantic wins going away against Pine Ridge

Recap: Atlantic Sharks vs. Pine Ridge Panthers

The Atlantic Sharks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 66-48 win over Pine Ridge. The win was just what Atlantic needed coming off of a 62-25 loss in their prior match.

Pine Ridge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Imani Ihaza, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ihaza has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Murray, who scored 14 points.

Atlantic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Pine Ridge, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlantic will face off against University at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine Ridge won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Seabreeze at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Seabreeze has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
