Volleyball Game Preview: Aztec Tigers vs. Miyamura Patriots + How To Watch

Aztec hasn't had much luck against Miyamura recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will head out to face off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Aztec came up short against Gallup and fell 3-1.

Aztec was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Gallup work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 24-26, 25-15, 28-26.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Miyamura and Shiprock, and Shiprock kept the tradition alive. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chieftains on Tuesday.

Miyamura's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Aztec, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Aztec might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Miyamura when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
