Soccer Recap: Cary-Grove Has No Trouble Against Richmond-Burton

Cary-Grove won the last time they faced Richmond-Burton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 3-0 victory. Cary-Grove better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Malaina Kurth, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Cary-Grove has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four contests. As for Richmond-Burton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Cary-Grove will head out on the road to square off against Dundee-Crown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richmond-Burton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grayslake North at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
