Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eudora). Everything went their way against the Tonganoxie Chieftains on Thursday as the Eudora Cardinals made off with a 56-30 win. The Cardinals' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Eudora's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Tonganoxie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Eudora and Spring Hill will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another on January 3, 2025. Eudora's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Spring Hill's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Tonganoxie, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Baldwin will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Tonganoxie surely won't give up without a fight.
