Basketball Recap: Garner Comes Up Short

Garner lost to Perrin-Whitt back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Longhorns came up short against the Pirates, falling 62-40. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Garner's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Perrin-Whitt, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 23-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Garner is set to challenge their familiar foe Woodson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Perrin-Whitt will face off against rival Bryson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
