Soccer Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Jacksonville Fightin' Indians, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Mavericks have lost by exactly eight goals.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Jacksonville, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-1-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lufkin the next time they take the pitch. Marshall will host Lufkin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Jacksonville will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th.
