Soccer Game Preview: Pennington vs. Brewer

The Pennington Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Brewer Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pennington comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Pennington lost 8-1 to New Hope two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Brewer hadn't done well against Lee recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Patriots came out on top against the Generals by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Brewer were the better team in the second half.

They hit Lee with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Annabel Saare, Peyton Sullivan, and Estefani Garcia.

The victory got Brewer back to even at 6-6. As for Pennington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Pennington suffered a grim 10-2 defeat to Brewer when the teams last played back in February. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 4-1.
