Soccer Recap: Marshfield's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Marshfield was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Crocker on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluejays came up short against the West Plains Zizzers on Monday, falling 4-1. Marshfield were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Plains apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Marshfield's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for West Plains, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-11-1.

Marshfield has already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against Logan-Rogersville on the 13th. As for West Plains, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Carl Junction on the 13th.
