The Central Cambria Red Devils will square off against the Bald Eagle Area Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Cambria is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.

Central Cambria is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Susquenita just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. Sydney Thompson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailey Eckert, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bald Eagle Area's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Central Cambria, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-2.

Monday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Central Cambria hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. However, it's not like Bald Eagle Area struggles in that department as they've averaged .365. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
