Our Lady of the Sun Academy falls despite strong effort from Joseph Reiss

It was a good run, but Our Lady of the Sun Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They were beaten by Imagine Prep Coolidge 72-43.
Despite the loss, Our Lady of the Sun Academy still got an impressive performance from Joseph Reiss, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 58.1% of Our Lady of the Sun Academy's points, marking the 15th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of John Reiss, who scored 12 points.
Our Lady of the Sun Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Imagine Prep Coolidge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Our Lady of the Sun Academy will take on the at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Imagine Prep Coolidge will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. Skyline - Gila River knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully the Eagles likes a good challenge.
