Baseball Recap: Osbourn Drops Season-High Score on Potomac Senior

Osbourn is still winless after their matchup against Potomac Senior on Monday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Panthers. On the bright side, the five- run performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring contest to date.

Osbourn saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lenell Evans, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those triples marked the first that Evans hit this season.

Osbourn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Potomac Senior, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Potomac Senior will challenge Liberty at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osbourn will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' game: after the Panthers faces off against Forest Park, they'll take on Osbourn again at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
