Hardin is 8-0-2 against Laurel since November of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Locomotives at 4:00 p.m. Laurel took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hardin, who comes in off a win.

Hardin took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Lockwood by a score of 3-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 16-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Laurel came up short against Billings Central Catholic on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Locomotives haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-22, 25-14.

Hardin will have to contain Bailey Bequette as she made an impact in Laurel's last game. She had 26 digs and one assist.

Hardin's win bumped their record up to 4-11-1. As for Laurel, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1.

Hardin was able to grind out a solid victory over Laurel when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
