Volleyball Recap: New Britain's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

New Britain had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the University Hawks on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Golden Hurricanes not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 24th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was New Britain's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-15.

Saniyah Demus paced New Britain's offense, picking up 17 kills. Demus got some help from Avery Ostralt and her 17 assists. Olivia Escobales controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

New Britain's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for University, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

As of now, neither New Britain nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
