Forest Hills Central never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  15-0 margin over the Ottawa Hills Bengals. The result was nothing new for the Rangers, who have now won six contests by 11  runs or more  so far this season.
 Brooke Cullinane made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted  over her last 11  matches.
 In other batting news,  Karianna Wierenga was a standout: she got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played.  Micah McClarty was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Forest Hills Central was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. They are 5-1 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The  win made it two in a row for Forest Hills Central and  bumps their season record up to 7-10. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Ottawa Hills,  they are  on  a  19-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Hills Central will head out to  square off against Covenant Christian  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Ottawa Hills, they will venture away from home to  take on Forest Hills Eastern  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Bengals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 12.4  runs per game this season.
