Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 49-45 W against the Muskogee Roughers. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Roughers back in January, they had to take a 56-31 loss.

Suriah Matthew was the offensive standout of the contest as she went 8-for-14 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Gracie Sanders, who scored eight points and six boards.

Broken Arrow was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They are 12-1 when they've passed the ball that well.

Broken Arrow's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Muskogee, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7.
