Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Huntington). They blew past the Tug Valley Panthers 10-4 on Friday. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Highlanders as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.
 Layla Crickard made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Crickard was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Lilly Robinson was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Ellie Fei, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI.
Huntington's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Tug Valley, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntington will head out to  take on Riverside  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something the Highlanders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tug Valley, they will venture away from home to  face off against Sherman  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
