Basketball Recap: East Sac County Takes a Loss

East Sac County lost against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The East Sac County Raiders lost 59-34 to Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute are ranked 68th).

This is the second loss in a row for East Sac County and nudges their season record down to 6-8. As for Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

East Sac County has already played their next game, a 52-45 win against Alta-Aurelia on the 24th. As for Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-36 victory against Westwood on the 24th.
