Recap: Frazier Commodores vs. Burgettstown Blue Devils
The Frazier Commodores lost against the Burgettstown Blue Devils back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Frazier fell 57-47 to Burgettstown. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Frazier in their matchups with Burgettstown: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Frazier had strong showings from Brennen Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, and Dailan Mcmanus, who scored 19 points. Stewart continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Conlan Higbee, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Frazier's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Burgettstown, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3.
Frazier's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Bethlehem Center at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Burgettstown, they will head out on the road to take on Fort Cherry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
