The matchup between Hough and Myers Park on Friday hardly resembled the 13-10 effort from their previous meeting. The Hough Huskies claimed a resounding 52-13 victory over the Myers Park Mustangs at home. With the Huskies ahead 28-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Ralph (Trey) Blakeney was a one-man wrecking crew for Hough as he threw for 323 yards and six touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards. Tyran Evans was another key player, picking up 144 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
