High school boys basketball: CIF San Diego Section playoff brackets

Undefeated Torrey Pines and San Marcos lead eight-team Open Division; Divisions I-V begins on Tuesday.
Eighty-four teams in six divisions will take part in the 2021 San Diego Section boys basketball playoffs which begin Tuesday and concludes June 12.
Unbeaten
Torrey Pines-San Diego (26-0), the top-ranked team in the section, leads an eight-team Open Division which begins play on Friday. The combined record of the eight teams are 148-29 and features another unbeaten squad, third seed
San Marcos (24-0), which opens against sixth-seed
El Camino-Oceanside (24-4).
All eight Open teams will advance to Southern California regional action, which takes place June 14-19. For the second straight year, there will be no California Interscholastic Federation State Championship games played due to the pandemic.
Valhalla is led by the section's ninth leading scorer,
Joe Avalos.
