Softball Recap: Orange County Takes a Loss

Orange County lost against Louisa County back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fighting Hornets fell 5-1 to the Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Hornets have lost by exactly four runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Orange County and nudges their season record down to 8-6. As for Louisa County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange County will challenge Madison County at 6:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Louisa County, they will face off against Spotsylvania at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
