Softball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oxbridge Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Westminster Christian Warriors by a score of 9-8 on Tuesday. The ThunderWolves haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Riley Fraunfelter was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Hadley Krasulak, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Oxbridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Westminster Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7-1 record this season.

Oxbridge Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westminster Christian, they will take on Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
