Softball Recap: Gonzaga Prep Takes a Loss

Gonzaga Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Hanford Falcons. The game marked the first time this season in which the Bullpups were not able to get on the board.

Gonzaga Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hanford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Gonzaga Prep will take on Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hanford, they will challenge Hermiston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanford's pitchers better be ready for this one: Hermiston has averaged an impressive 15.8 runs per game this season.
