While Rancho Bernardo's win against Westview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Broncos had just enough and edged out the Wolverines 5-3. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Nora Schwart, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ellery Housand, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

The win got Rancho Bernardo back to even at 6-6-1. As for Westview, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-1.

Rancho Bernardo and Westview will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Broncos are set to face off against their familiar foe Del Norte at 4:00 p.m. on the 9th. Meanwhile, Westview will take on rival Valley Center at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
