Basketball Recap: Dominic Cuilla Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Non Varsity Opponent

Cloudcroft won the last time they faced Non Varsity Opponent and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cloudcroft Bears came out on top against Non Varsity Opponent by a score of 61-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cloudcroft to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dominic Cuilla, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. Cuilla is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Thompkins, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.

Cloudcroft now has a winning record of 6-5.

Cloudcroft won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lordsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-51 loss against Magdalena on the 9th.
