Basketball Recap: Morrill Takes a Loss

Morrill played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Bridgeport Bulldogs and fell 68-26. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Tacey From was her usual excellent self, going 10-for-19 to rack up 20 points and eight steals for Bridgeport. From has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 28 times she's played. Olivia Brown was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to seven steals and five boards.

Morrill's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Bridgeport, their win was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-1.

Morrill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bridgeport, they have already played their next game, a 64-42 victory against Gordon-Rushville on the 14th.
