The Jackson Timberwolves will square off against the Kamiak Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Jackson gave up the first runs last Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Woodinville by a score of 9-6.
Clara Dorgan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

| 03/25/26 @ Meadowdale | 1 |

| 03/12/26 vs North Creek | 1 |
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alana Banog, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Mia Ediger was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Jackson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Kamiak made sure to put some runs up on the board against Marysville Getchell last Friday. The Knights blew past Marysville Getchell 12-2. With that victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Like Jackson, Kamiak also got a great game from a two-way player: Gabby Veighey. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Veighey was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Olivia Martinez and Kylee Bjella did most of the damage at the plate: Martinez went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Bjella went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That double was Bjella's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Barrington, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Jackson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Kamiak, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Jackson has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Kamiak struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Jackson skirted past Kamiak 5-4 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
