Baseball Recap: Havelock Takes a Loss

Havelock suffered their closest loss since May 7, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Jacksonville Cardinals by a score of 5-3. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 6-2.

Havelock has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Jacksonville, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-8.

Havelock has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Croatan on the 7th. As for Jacksonville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-2 defeat against D.H. Conley on the 8th.
