Soccer Game Preview: Culpeper County vs. Spotsylvania

The Culpeper County Blue Devils will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Spotsylvania Knights at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Culpeper County's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Culpeper County is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against King George on Thursday. The Blue Devils and the Foxes finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Spotsylvania's offense. They came up short against Massaponax on Monday, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for Spotsylvania in their meetings with Massaponax: they've now lost six in a row.

Spotsylvania's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. Culpeper County's draw makes their record 4-2-1 this season.

Culpeper County was able to grind out a solid victory over Spotsylvania in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
