Basketball Recap: Shadow Mountain Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Shadow Mountain unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 54-39 bruising from the Paradise Valley Trojans on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Matadors in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Shadow Mountain will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mingus at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Paradise Valley, they will take on Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
