Basketball Recap: Everton Comes Up Short

Everton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-35 loss at the hands of the Hurley Tigers. If Everton was looking for revenge after losing 76-34 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Everton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Hurley, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Everton Tigers take on the Bronaugh Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd. As for Hurley, they will head out to challenge Golden City at 6:00 p.m. on January 3rd.
