Basketball Recap: Dwight-Englewood Snags Tenth Win in Last 13 Games

On Monday, the Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs didn't have too much trouble with the Waldwick Warriors as they won 66-49. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Warriors are ranked 284th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dwight-Englewood has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for Waldwick, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dwight-Englewood will take on Pascack Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waldwick, they will face off against Ridgefield Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
