Basketball Game Preview: Northfield Nighthawks vs. ThunderRidge Grizzlies + Official Tickets

The Northfield Nighthawks will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the ThunderRidge Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Northfield is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against DSST: Green Valley Ranch. The Nighthawks blew past the Raptors 80-39 on Tuesday. The Nighthawks not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 19, 2024 (when they won 101-34).

Meanwhile, ThunderRidge gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Legacy as they made off with a 73-47 win. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Lightning recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Northfield better keep an eye on Sean Morton. He was instrumental in ThunderRidge's win, putting up 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Cremeen, who posted 15 points.

Northfield was taken down by ThunderRidge 82-48 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Grizzlies' Drew Paine, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 15 rebounds.
