Cobre had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Hatch Valley Bears as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cobre took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-15.

Cobre found their leader in freshman Kamera Ortiz, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Ortiz.

Cobre was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive matchups.

Cobre's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Hatch Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
