 Union is 8-2 against Philadelphia since April of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Union Yellowjackets will head out on the road to  face off against  the Philadelphia Tornadoes at 7:00  p.m. Union is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.4  runs per game this season.
 Union waltzed into their contest  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They won by a  run and slipped past the Tornadoes  9-8. Nine seems to be a good number for Union as the  squad scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Samuel Allawine made a splash no matter where he played. He  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Allawine was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Hayden Dolan was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple and  an  RBI.
 Union is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record  this season. As for Philadelphia, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with that  defeat, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
