Soccer Recap: Quincy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Island Rocks. While losing is never fun, Quincy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Rock Island are ranked 81st).

Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Rock Island, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quincy will square off against Hannibal at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rock Island, they will head out to square off against Quincy Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
