Key West has gone 9-0-1 against Marathon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Key West Conchs will be home for the holidays to greet the Marathon Dolphins at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Key West's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Marathon has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Last Thursday, Key West sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Somerset Academy (Silver Palms). DJ Barrett had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Conchs got from the refs.

Kieran Smith and Loubins Fleuridor scored all three of Key West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Marathon was not quite Miami Country Day's equal in the second half on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Dolphins have lost by exactly two goals.

Key West is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. As for Marathon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
