Holmes County Central had won seven straight games and Damarian Harris did his part to make it eight on Saturday. The Jaguars came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 58-57 W against the Terry Bulldogs thanks in part to Harris, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 24 points and six rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 55% in the last five games he's played.

Holmes County Central's record is now 12-2. As for Terry, they moved to 10-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Holmes County Central and Gentry will round out the year against one another at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Terry and Lanier will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
