Basketball Recap: Preble Shawnee Find Success

After losing to Meadowdale the last time they met, Preble Shawnee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Preble Shawnee Arrows walked away with a 38-31 win over the Meadowdale Lions on Saturday. The 38-point effort marked the Arrows' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Preble Shawnee now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Meadowdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Preble Shawnee will challenge Tri-County North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Preble Shawnee is facing Tri-County North at the right time seeing as Tri-County North is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Meadowdale, they will venture away from home to challenge Trotwood-Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Trotwood-Madison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Meadowdale likes a good challenge.
