Central Heights waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Diboll Lumberjacks as they made off with a 56-35 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-55 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Diboll still got an impressive performance from Erin Robbins, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 19 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Robbins a new career-high in points. Barret Price also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Central Heights is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Diboll, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Central Heights didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-46 win against Woodville on the 28th. As for Diboll, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-44 defeat against Huntington on the 28th.
