Basketball Recap: Dexter Gets the Win

If Hagerman wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dexter, they should've done a better job of containing Melody Duran. The Demons breezed past the Bobcats to the tune of 58-23 on Thursday for which the team can thank Duran, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. Her big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

Dexter's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Hagerman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Dexter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-16 victory against Hatch Valley on the 9th. As for Hagerman, they will host Melrose at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
