Volleyball Recap: Badger Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Badger entered their tilt with Conneaut on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Spartans. This was payback for the Braves, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Badger was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 18-25, 25-8.

Badger's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brianna Lendak, who had 14 kills, five digs, and four aces. With that strong performance, Lendak is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game. Another player making a difference was Morgan Hall, who had 25 digs and four assists.

They weren't the only good server: Badger was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matchups.

The win got Badger back to even at 8-8. As for Conneaut, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Looking ahead, Badger will host Windham at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Conneaut, they will head out on the road to square off against Edgewood at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
