Basketball Recap: Connell Takes a Loss

Connell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 52-32 to the Wapato Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Wolves are ranked 38th).

Connell's record is now 5-8. As for Wapato, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Connell is set to square off against their familiar foe Cashmere at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wapato will face off against rival College Place at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
