            Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Falcons vs. St. Joseph Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            Trinity Christian hadn't done well against St. Joseph recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Wednesday. The Trinity Christian Falcons secured  a  57-52 W over the St. Joseph Spartans. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered  a  69-44  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Despite the loss, St. Joseph still got an impressive performance from   Ben Bartolovic, who  posted 23 points. Those 23  points gave  Bartolovic a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Gabe Maltese, who  had ten points.
The  win  got Trinity Christian back to even at 2-2. As for St. Joseph, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost seven of their last eight games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record  this season.
 When Trinity Christian and St. Joseph next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Trinity Christian will try to stop Hillel Academy's three-game winning streak when the meet  at 5:30  p.m.  on February 6th. Meanwhile, St. Joseph will  challenge  Serra Catholic and their five-game winning streak  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
