Basketball Recap: Rochester Comes Up Short

Rochester won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 60-30 loss at the hands of the Hoquiam Grizzlies. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 143rd).

Rochester's defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Hoquiam, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Rochester will venture away from home to square off against Tenino at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rochester is facing Tenino at the right time seeing as Tenino is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Hoquiam does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
